NEXT YANUZ WEBINAR

Establish and embrace, with and for the community – An inspiring common long-term goal

Jos van Kempen

14 October 2021 I 15:00 to 17:00 CET I Free of Charge

You are cordially invited to attend our webinar on 14th of October. This seminar is the sixth of a series in which we discuss our 11 guiding principles for social innovation.

The webinar will focus on the principle: ‘Establishing and embracing, with and for the community, an inspiring common long-term goal’.

In social innovation, people work on pressing challenges to create true value for society. In order to ensure commitment and continued support from all actors, for this often long-term process, it pays off to take the time upfront to discuss shared values, dreams and agree upon a ‘societal mission’ which resonates with everyone, creates a sense of urgency and purpose and is ethical. In working towards the mission, often smaller goals are developed. The dynamics of the process, in which constant alignment is taking place between activities and goals as well as individual and collective values and needs, can lead to refining and redefining the common goal.

Jos Kempen will introduce us to this topic and then guide us in an exercise to expand our imaginations. Often when thinking about a desired future we let ourselves be limited by the current system and its limitations. Jos will teach us how to avoid those pitfalls and ensure we harvest our most creative and innovative ideas.

To get the most out of this exercise, it would be really useful to bring in your own cases as well as your fellow ecosystem stakeholders!

We hope you join us for another inspiring meet up!
